Keep in mind though what I meant about default settings is that regardless of where the knobs start, Antares decides what "all the way down" and "all the way up" actually mean, and those things can change from release to release. ![]() For hip-hop where you're going for that sound, a more primitive algorithm might let you get that sound more easily. AT evo was supposed to be a big improvement of at5, which for them means making it sound less robotic and more natural. Yep each one has its own algorithm as they refine it year after year.
